The demolition of a single dwelling and construction of 2 dual occupancy residences on a small site in Caulfield, presented numerous challenges for the design team, including the inclusion of a lap pool in the front residence. In consultation with the client the team successfully achieved two contemporary residences, which remain balanced on the site, while also providing a sense of openness and space internally.

Alphington Townhouses

The client requested a number of concepts for the development of multi-generational townhouses on a site in Alphington. The design drew on the client's heritage combining traditional geometry and forms with natural elements and materials to create two luxurious homes. The interior design of the two town houses provided spaces which open into larger outdoor entertaining areas, blurring the internal and external boundaries of the houses.

The design for this project required 4 townhouses across two lots. The brief for Pavan Consultants was to create a cost effective solution to the small sites which would maximise livablity. The 2 designs took into consideration the existing residential nature of High Street, and provided aesthetically pleasing results to the growing neighbourhood.

Hockingstuart, Surrey Hills

The top level of this mixed use development on a busy intersection in Surrey Hills required two expansive and well lit apartments. Both apartments provide high end finishes and were designed to maximise open floor space. Private balconies provide outdoor areas for each apartment, while the interior spaces feature large windows for maximum natural light and view.
